Sheen yarn produces crisp stitches with summery hand feel and drape similar to satin fabric. A great yarn for statement pieces like dresses and top and bottom sets.

Machine suggestion: 

  1. Hand feel swatch is 2 ends of RED OXIDE knitted on standard domestic on tension 3.
  2. Creative swatch is variegated rib knitted in GLACIER on standard gauge.  

Standard domestics: 2-3 ends for fuller stitches.
Dubied 7gg -12gg: 1-2 ends depending on fullness.

Cover cone with stocking when knitting, it helps to regulate the tension.

AFTERCARE

Finishing:
Use steam press to set the shape.

Wash instructions:
Dry clean is recommended
Hand wash only in cold or lukewarm not exceeding 30℃ using neutral soap
Do not bleach or tumble dry
Dry flat in the shade
Iron at low heat with piece of cloth separating knit and iron

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your purchase so if it’s not what you expected, we are happy to refund – no problem!

We have a 30 day return policy, get in touch with us at info@knitinprogress.com so we can process it for you. Please ensure the yarns are returned to us in their original condition and weight. In addition to a refund we can also provide you with store credit or exchange on purchases that meet our return standards. As we are a small business, we cannot refund return postage costs.

    We’ve done all the groundwork so you don’t need to!

  • What's the difference between hand and machine knit yarn?

    Hand knit yarn is usually in balls or skeins whereas machine knit yarn is on cones and provides even tension for this purpose.

    Generally machine knit yarn is finer than hand knit yarn.
